Temporary residency allows eligible individuals to live in Cyprus for a defined and usually renewable period. Permanent residency provides a longer-term status, subject to the applicant meeting the requirements of the relevant immigration route.
Requirements depend on the chosen route. The investor route generally involves a qualifying investment of at least €300,000, evidence of secure annual income, a clean criminal record and supporting documentation. Current official criteria state a minimum annual income of €50,000, increased by €15,000 for a spouse and €10,000 for each dependent child. Cyprus Migration Department
